RESULT OF PACQUIAO VS CLOTTEY FIGHT

by on 14/03/10 at 1:55 am

Round 1, I was a bit excited but when round 5 came, I was a little depressed.  Clottey was just covering his face as a defense from the punches of the Pacman.

The crowd, though screaming, was a little disappointed with Clottey’s way of fighting.  He was just covering his face all through out the game.  Clottey would give out at least two punches per round from round 1 to 5.  Round 6,  Clottey gave four punches and we thought he was improving.  While watching, we were thinking what was Clottey’s plan.  We thought Clottey might just want to give out his best on the 12th round after making Pacquiao tired.  But round 12 came,  Clottey remained covered.  Nevertheless, it was a nice fight from Manny Pacquiao.  It was a unanimous decision after round 12, Manny is still the champ!

Congratulations, Pacman! Congratulations, Pinoys!

Clottey is a big disappointment, he never assumed the role of being a challenger to a world title much more a once in a life time oppurtunity to beat the world’s best boxer.. As per Freddie Roach, ““I would rather get knocked out trying to win than going the distance.” Clottey did nothing of that, he just wanted to survive and probably enjoy the $1.2M purse.

You are correct, Walter! Good thing though is that Pacman remains to be our champ! Thanks for sharing!
